MuscleLit Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
MuscleLit is a fitness app made by Codebage. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: everything you put into MuscleLit stays on your phone. We do not collect it, we do not see it, and we do not sell it.
What the app stores, and where
MuscleLit keeps your plan, workout history, weigh-ins, measurements, progress photos and settings in a file on your own device. On iPhone that file can also be copied to your iCloud Drive, under your Apple account, if you are signed in to iCloud. We have no access to either copy.
You can delete everything at any time in Settings → Delete all workout data, or by uninstalling the app.
The camera
The camera rep counter, form check, mirror and progress photos use your camera. Camera frames are analysed on the device by software that runs on the phone, and are not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Progress photos are saved inside the app's private storage only, and are never added to your photo gallery unless you share them yourself.
Microphone
MuscleLit does not use the microphone.
Health data
On iPhone, if you turn on Apple Health in Settings, MuscleLit can read your body weight from Health and write your workouts and weigh-ins to it. This happens only on your device, under Apple's Health permissions, and you can switch it off at any time. On Android the app does not connect to Health Connect.
Purchases
MuscleLit Pro is sold through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone. Payment is handled entirely by Google or Apple, who process your payment details under their own privacy policies. The app only receives a confirmation that you own Pro. We do not see your name, card or address.
Notifications
Workout reminders and the in-workout countdown are scheduled on your phone. No notification is sent from a server.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-up.
- No analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers.
- No ads.
- No crash reporting services.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with anyone.
Network use
The app connects to the internet only to talk to Google Play or the App Store for purchases. Everything else works offline.
Children
MuscleLit is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new date.
